Day 01:- Arrival - Delhi
Arrive Delhi airport meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to your hotel. Later proceed for the city tour of Delhi. Visit to Red Fort, India Gate, Qutub Minar, President House, Parliament House, National Museum, Akshardham Temple, etc. Also visit Humayun’s Tomb built in 1565 AD by his grieving widow Haji Begum. Qutb Minar, Red Fort and Humayun’s Tomb are the three UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Delhi. You can also enjoy shopping in the bustling market and malls of Delhi. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi - Udaipur
Breakfast at the Hotel, later board your flight for Udaipur, arrive and check into your Hotel. Later proceed for the City Tour of Udaipur. Visit the City Palace, once the home of Mewar’s rulers, is today a museum. It consists of several flawlessly integrated palaces, which overlook the clear blue of Lake Pichola. Visit Sahelion-ki-bari (Garden of the Maids of Honour) the scene of royal parties for centuries. Drive around Fateh Sagar Lake excavated in the late 17th century by Maharaja Jai Singh and past the Kala Mandir (Puppet Museum) and the Cenotaph of Maharana Pratap. And of course last but not the last - the Jagdish temple. Later enjoy Boatride on Lake Pichola - This Lake takes its name from the small village of Picholi on its West Bank. In the lake are several islands. On two of them the maharanas of Udaipur constructed pleasure palaces, the Jag Mandir and the Jag Niwas. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. 
Day 03: Udaipur - Jodhpur
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Jodhpur visiting Ranakpur Jain temples on the way. On arrival at Jodhpur our representative greets you and transfers you to the pre-booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04:- Jodhpur - Jaipur
Breakfast at the Hotel; later proceed for the sightseeing for Jodhpur.
Visit to majestic Meharangarh Fort. Inside the fort, there is a whole series of courtyards and palaces. The fort also houses some fine pieces of Rajput miniature paintings, armoury, elephant howdahs, and palanquins. On the rampart, stand cannons, of Gaj Singh. On the road down from the Fort see Jaswant Thada, the blinding white marble cenotaph (chhatri) of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II and Clock Towers which stands in the city centre. Take a glimpse of the famous Umaid Bhavan, which is converted into a Hotel but a part of the palace is still a Royal Residence. It has a small personal collection of authentic bone china crockery and antique watches. Later drive to Jaipur, arrive and check into your Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the sightseeing of Jaipur city. Proceed on a visit to the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha Rajputs, Amer. Just 7 miles north of Jaipur is Amber with it’s a honey-colored fortress-palace in the Aravalli Hills which can be mounted by Elephant / Jeep ride .It has been described as “the sleeping beauty of Rajasthan”. The sombre exterior belies the richness of the royal apartments, which open on to striking views of the gorge. It also possesses a hall of Mirrors. The Hall of Victory presents a galaxy of ornamental art - panels of alabaster with fine inlay work of the tenderness hues. Enroute enjoy a photo-stop at Hawa Mahal - the palace of wind. Later visit the City Palace and the apartment housing museums with an array of textiles, costumes, arms, weapons and paintings and finally visit Jantar-Mantar, the observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh-II. Later return back on time to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. 
Day 06:- Jaipur - Agra
After breakfast drive to Agra Enroute visit Fathepur Sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri - an epic poem in red sandstone, built by Emperor Akbar the Great in 1569 and deserted 14 years later because its water supply failed. Its glorious courtyards and palaces summon up dreams of the mysterious past. Buland Darwaza, the victory gate looms 134 feet high. There’s the imperial Jama Masjid, the tomb of Shaik Salim Chisti who predicted the birth of Akbar’s son Jehangir, the Panch Mahal, a strange building which resembles a Buddhist Temple, a cloistered courtyard which was the Hall of Public Audience, and the Pachchisi paved with black and white where the Emperor played chess using slave girls as figurines. Due to the fact that for most it’s existence this city was deserted, damage to the interiors is minimum by the many different rulers that ruled after Akbar. Arrive Agra and check into your Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Agra.
Day 07: Agra - Gwalior
After hearty breakfast enjoy the city tour of Agra. Visit to Taj Mahal one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah’s tomb are also the prime attraction of the city. After the city tour of Agra drive to Gwalior and on arrival check into the pre-booked hotel. Gwalior is synonymous with its Fort, one of the oldest in India, with its dramatic & colourful history going back over 1000 years. Although the origins are unclear, after 1398 when the Tomar dynasty came into power in Gwalior, the fort was the centre of continual deception & clashes with neighbouring powers.
The Tomar King, Man Singh (1486-1516) built the Man Mandir, a six-towered palace decorated with perforated screens, mosaics, floral designs and mouldings in Hindu abundance. Man Singh also built the Gurjari Mahal, a turreted palace of stone - now an archaeological museum. The Fort also contains a mosque and 11th century temples. Outside the Fort, Gwalior offers the tomb of Muhammed Ghaus, a saint worshipped by the Moghuls and the tomb of Tansen, Akbar’s famed court musician. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Gwalior. 
Day 08: Gwalior - Khajuraho
After the breakfast drive to Khajuraho, arrive and check into your Hotel.
Later proceed for Khajuraho Sightseeing. Pay a half-day visit to the western and eastern group of temples. Among the western group of temples, the most famous is the Kandariya Mahadev temple, 32 meters high with a fantastic range of sculptures including sensuous themes. Other temples include the Chaunsat Yogini, which is a granite temple, the Devi Jagdambe temple dedicated to the Mother Goddess, the Chitragupta temple, dedicated to Surya the Sun God, etc.
The eastern group of temples includes both Hindu and Jain temples. The largest and finest of the Jain a shrine is Parsvanath temple. Also see Adinatha temple, Ghantai, Vamana temple etc. Later return on time for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Khajuraho.
Day 09: Khajuraho - Varanasi
After the breakfast drive to Khajuraho airport to board your flight for Varanasi. Arrive and check into your Hotel. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Varanasi. During the 30 km drive you will see the Bharat Mata Temple, dedicated to Mother India, which, instead of gods and goddesses, houses a relief map of India carved out of marble. Emperor Aurangazeb’s Mosque built in the 17th century on the site of a Hindu Temple. The rear of the mosque reveals specimens of the ancient temple art of India. Also visit to Vishwanath Temple (Golden Temple) erected by Rani Ahalyabai Holkar of Indore in 1776. The shikharas of the temple are gold plated. Visit to Benaras Hindu University, a great seat of oriental learning. It started as a centre of education in Sanskrit, Indian art, culture and music. Visit the Durga (Goddess of Power) Temple popularly known as the Monkey Temple because of hundreds of monkeys in the courtyard. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 10: Varanasi - Kathmandu
After hearty breakfast at the hotel our representative transfers you to the airport to board flight for Kathmandu. On arrival our representative greets and transfers you to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up, wash and change at the hotel. Dinner and over night stay will be at the hotel.
Day 11: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Full day visit Kathmandu city and Swoyambhuanth Stupa and Patan city.
In this tour visit the 17th Century Durbar complex and Hanuman Dhoka, temple of living goddess, Narayan Mandir, Maiju Dewal, and Kasthmandap a wooden temple built from a single tree, Shiva Paravati temple, great Bell and Drum, Seto Bhairav, Kal Bhairav and Taleju Temple. Later proceed to Swoyambhunath one of the oldest Buddhist Stupa overlooking the entire Katmandu valley also known as the Monkey Temple.
Afternoon: Patan city visiting the old newar city, the historic durbar square, the golden gate, the sky piercing temple of Teleju and the statue of Yogendra Malla, other temples, old carved windows and balconies of wood, curio shop and bazaars. Return to hotel enroute visiting Tibetan Refugee camp. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 12: Kathmandu Sightseeing of Temples
After healthy breakfast enjoy full day tour of Pasupatinath temple, Bouddhanath stupa, Bhadgaon city and Nagarkot.

Morning visit Pashupatinath area you can see famous Lord Shiva temple and Hindu cremation ground. Though you are not allowed to go inside the temple as it is strictly for Hindus only, you can clearly see the temple and the activities from the eastern bank of the Bagmati river. The two-tier golden roof and silver doors of the temple are famous all over the world.
Later visit Bouddhanath, the 2500 years old Buddhist stupa in the Valley built in 5th century with four pairs of eyes of Lord Buddha in four cardinal directions keeping an eternal watch over the people and their doings. You will find Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet going round the stupa spinning the prayer wheels. Afternoon: visit Bhadgaon, another Newar city founded in the 9th century.
Visit the ancient gateway, Durbar Square the Royal Residential Quarter of Bhupatindra Malla, famous five storied temple of Nyatapola in Pagoda style, Batsala temple, Bhairavnath temple, Duttatraya temple, Pujari Math and Palace of 55 windows. Nagarkot is a popular tourist resort 15 kms away from Bhadgaon, Nagarkot lies at an altitude of 2,175 m above sea level. The overwhelming panorama of the major peaks of eastern Nepal Himalayas includes Mt. Everest and Manasulu.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. 
Day 13: Kathmandu - Delhi
Enjoy hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later our representative transfers you to the airport to board flight for Delhi. On arrival our representative greets you and transfers you to the pre-booked hotel at Delhi. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 14: Delhi - Leh
After breakfast at the hotel our representative transfers you to the airport to board flight for Leh. On arrival our representative greets you and transfers you to the hotel. Mysterious dust –covered Leh sits in a fertile side valley of the Indus, about 10 km from the river. Encircled by stark awe-inspiring mountains with the cold desert beyond Leh is the nearest experience of Tibet in India. Leh developed as a trading post and market, attracting a wide variety of merchants from Yarkand, Kashgar, Kashmir, Tibet and North India.
Tea, salt, household articles, wool and semi-precious stones were all traded in the market. Buddhism traveled along the Silk Road and the Kashmir and Ladhak feeder, which has also seen the passage of soldiers, explorers and pilgrims, forerunners of the tourists who today contribute most to the urban economy. Rest of the day enjoy at your free will. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 15: Leh Sightseeing After hearty breakfast enjoy full day sightseeing of Leh. Visit to Shey, Thiksey & Stok Palace. After breakfast, proceed to Shey – it was the ancient capital of Ladakh and even after Singge Namgyal built the more imposing palace at Leh, the kings continued to regard Shey, as their real home. The importance which was attached to Shey - the seat of Ladakh's heartland - is attested by the enormous number of Chorten about the village, particularly around the palace complex and barren plain to the north of the road. Thiksey – is one of the largest and most impressive Gompas.
There are several temples in this Gompa containing images, stupas and exquisite wall paintings. It also houses a two - storied statue of Buddha which has the main prayer hall around its shoulder. On return proceed to Spituk – 8 Kms from Leh, which stands majestically atop a hillock overlooking the Indus valley for miles. Many icons and fine "Tangkhas" are to be found in this 15th century monastery. It also houses a collection of ancient masks, antique arms and is inspiring image of "Mahakala". The face of the Kali image is kept covered and revealed only at the annual function in January every two years. Rest of the day at leisure
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. 
Day 16: Leh Excursion
Early morning drive for Excursion to Alchi & Lamayuru. Alchi Gompa which is 70 Kms from Leh, the most beautiful Gompa of Ladakh & is also called Jewel among the central Ladakh's religious sites. It's known as Chos-Kor, or religious enclave. It comprises five temples which are noted for its massive Buddha statues and lavish woodcarvings and art work. Its Murals dating from 11th and 12th centuries, pre-date the Tibetan style of painting that is present in all other Gompas. Later drive to Lamayuru at a distance of 125 Kms from Leh. On arrival enjoy Hot Lunch at Lamayuru Restaurant.
After Lunch, visit Gompa. Lamayuru is the oldest monastery of Ladakh perched on hill top with its village at the foot of the hill. Most of the monastery is now in ruins. It was partially resorted in 1975. Lamayuru was once a lake. It was blessed by a lama after which, as legend goes the water of the lake receded up to the mountains leaving place for the monastery to be built. It is also the" free zone" of Ladakh since not even a criminal can be apprehended in this place. Now mostly in ruins only the main hall exists today and houses numerous “Tangkhas". After the excursion return back to the hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 17: Leh - Delhi
After breakfast depart to Leh airport to board flight for Delhi. On arrival our representative greets you and transfers you to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 18: Delhi – Onward Destination
After breakfast at the hotel our representative transfers you to the airport to board flight for you’re home/onwards destination. |
