Duration: 05 Nights – 06 Days Destinations Covered: Srinagar – Sonamarg – Pahalgam – Gulmarg – Srinagar Day 01: Srinagar  On arrival at Srinagar our representative greets you and transfers you to the hotel. Freshen-up, change and relax at the hotel. Late afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens etc. Also witness walnut woodcarving and papier mache making demonstration. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Day 02: Srinagar - Sonamarg After hearty breakfast enjoy full day excursion to Sonamarg by Jeep. The distance of about 83 kms will be covered about 2-½ hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. Drive back from Sonamarg on time for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. Day 03: Srinagar - Pahalgam After early breakfast and drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) via old part of Srinagar. Drive through Saffron fields, visit Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman). Drive through the pine forest and along Lidder River. One can also enjoy a pony ride through thick pine forest and enjoy the scenic and evergreen beauty of nature. Return back to the hotel on time for dinner and overnight stay.  Day 04: Pahalgam - Gulmarg After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea Level. The distance of 155 kms will be covered in about 3½ hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The View enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a Short trek up to Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy a Cable car ride which takes to the highest point. On arrival check into the pre-booked hotel for dinner and overnight stay.  Day 05: Gulmarg – Srinagar After early breakfast, drive to Srinagar and check in deluxe Houseboat. Afternoon join a sightseeing trip to Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the houseboat in Srinagar. Day 06: Srinagar - Departure After early breakfast our representative transfers you to the Srinagar airport on time to board flight for onwards destination. |
